32t Rubber Tire Gantry Crane Installed in the UAE

In April, a client from the UAE, a well-known modular building manufacturer, ordered a 32t rubber tire gantry crane from us. The product specifications are as follows:

• Lift Speed: 0.52 – 5.2 m/min
• Trolley Travel Speed: 2 – 20 m/min

• Crane Steering Mechanism: Motor Driven
• Power Supply: Diesel Generator (150 kW)

This crane is a four-wheel-drive, rail-free gantry crane, suitable for large yards where laying foundation for crane rails is not feasible. It features electrical steering, sideway movement, and the ability to turn around.

To ensure optimal performance, we upgraded the crane's travel mechanisms by using sprocket-driven tires, larger turning motors and bearings, and a hydraulic jacking system. The hydraulic jacking system lifts the crane when the tires turn 90º, preventing excessive friction between the tires and the ground.

Last month, the crane frame was assembled by our client, and we dispatched our technicians to the site for electrical wiring and commissioning. After a week of work, the crane was successfully installed and passed the acceptance test.
